BPM-Calculator.com is a free educational website providing browser-based BPM calculation tools and educational content about tempo and music production. The website is operated by Sophia (contact available via the Contact page).

What data this site processes:

Calculation tool data. The BPM Calculator, BPM to Milliseconds Converter, and Tempo Markings reference perform arithmetic on values you type. No data is transmitted, stored, or retained in any form. These tools do not constitute any data processing by BPM-Calculator.com.

Tap session data. The Tap Tempo tool records the timing of your keystrokes to calculate BPM. This timing data exists only within your active browser session and is not transmitted, stored, or retained after the session ends. It does not constitute personal data held by BPM-Calculator.com.

Audio data. The audio beat detection tool processes microphone input or uploaded audio files locally within your browser using the Web Audio API. Audio is never transmitted to or stored by BPM-Calculator.com. Because the site never receives or retains audio data, it does not constitute personal data held by this website.

Usage data. Basic technical data may be processed by hosting infrastructure — including IP address, browser type, and device category — for security and functionality purposes only.

Contact data. If you contact us via the Contact page, we receive your email address and message content. Used only to respond to your inquiry.
